Who we are
Unicorn Insider is published by AIA LLC, a Florida limited liability company. AIA LLC is the data controller for personal data collected through unicorninsider.com.
What we collect and why
- Name and email address (from checkout): to deliver issues, manage your subscription and send service messages. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Messages you send us: to answer questions and provide support. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.
- Questions typed into the AI tool: processed only to generate an answer; we do not store them or link them to you. Legal basis: legitimate interests in providing the feature.
- Technical data (IP address, browser, device, pages visited): for security, fraud prevention and keeping the site working. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Optional analytics data: with your consent, Google Analytics measures pages visited, referral sources, device and approximate location, navigation clicks, PDF downloads, plan selections, checkout progress and completed payments. We do not send your name, email, card details or AI questions to Google Analytics. Legal basis: consent.
We do not sell your personal data. Card and payment details are collected by Paddle, not by us.
Who we share it with
- Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing;
- service providers that host the site, run the AI tool and handle email;
- Google, for optional Google Analytics measurement when you allow analytics cookies; see Google’s Privacy Policy;
- professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants;
- authorities, where required by law.
Retention
We keep subscriber data for as long as your subscription is active, plus whatever period tax and accounting law requires. Then we delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To use these rights, email william@unicorninsider.com; we respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EEA, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. Your data is processed in the United States, and we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access, to protect your data.
Cookies
Essential cookies support the site and checkout. Google Analytics cookies are optional and load only after you choose “Allow analytics.” We do not enable advertising cookies or advertising personalization. You can decline without affecting access or checkout, or change your choice using “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of any page. Your preference is saved in your browser. You can also block cookies in your browser, but blocking essential cookies may affect checkout.
